The Disability Policy Centre

An image of six of us sat at a table. Around the table is myself, Robert Buckland, Bethany Bale, Nicole Brown, Bal Deol and Michelle Daley. The purple Disability Policy Centre and blue Mile End Institute banners are in the background.

After a successful career in both science and politics, I am proud to have launched The Disability Policy Centre - The United Kingdom’s first ever think tank of its kind, dedicated to the development and advancement of policy, to ensure that accessibility is at the heart of legislation.

Our aim over the coming years is to develop the policy solutions that break down barriers for disabled people, carers and people with long-term health conditions, across the United Kingdom.

In just a short space of time we have achieved meaningful policy change with our research.

There is much to be done and I look forward to continuing to do what I can to break down barriers and create opportunity.
